Women Ministry

Women have been an integral part of Christ Apostolic Church since its establishment. The influence of women, whether as church members, ministers, or as ministers’ spouses, has greatly enriched the history of the church at both the local and global levels, even today. The inclusion of women like Miss Sophia Odunlami, Miss Daisy Crawford, Mrs. Myers and other females who held roles as evangelists, prophets, and pioneers in the assemblies of Christ Apostolic Church, will inspire the current generations to excel in church ministry. Currently, Christ Apostolic Church women continue to participate in church ministry through different roles and responsibilities. Their involvement in various organizations like the Good Women Association, Ministers Wives’ Fellowship, Midwives’ Association is significant, in addition to their regular church activities. Their support has helped promote women’s education by setting up high schools, a midwifery college, and training programs for female religious leaders. They have also invested in cafeteria, housing, and bakery ventures within church-affiliated organizations. While the leadership of the Christ Apostolic Church has backed the endeavors of women, there are still particular areas where they require additional focus in order to enhance their impact both within and beyond the church.

Supporting women and girls and advancing gender equality in every aspect of our programs and activities. All genders require assistance, not only females. It is a statistical reality that women have been significantly affected by the pandemic in terms of mental health, career progression, wages, motivation, and overall health. Therefore, now is an ideal moment to think about ways to provide greater support to women and assist them in reaching their full potential. Joyful Women is a project and program that centers on women empowerment, advocacy, counseling, education, Q&A sessions, volunteer work, food distribution, and prayer.
